The city came alive this weekend as ArtCon 2025 opened its doors to art lovers, critics, and curious minds alike. Held at the downtown exhibition hall, the event showcased over 100 works from emerging and established artists across the country. From bold abstracts to intricate pencil sketches, the gallery offered a vivid exploration of culture, emotion, and perspective.
The highlight of the evening was the live art tournament, where selected artists were given one hour to create a piece from a surprise theme. The audience, moved by the energy and raw creativity, cast live votes to select the winner. “It’s not just about who wins,” said judge and curator Anika Rahman. “It’s about witnessing art in motion.”
